【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversthedesign,material,andminimumperformancerequirementsofresilientconnectorsusedforconnectionsbetweenreinforcedconcretestructuresconformingtoSpecificationsC478andC913toannularcorrugatedprofilewallhighdensitypolyethylene(HDPE)drainagepipeconformingtoAASHTOM252orSpecificationF2306/F2306M.Theseconnectorsaredesignedtoprovideapositivesealbetweenthepipeandmanholesorotherstructuressubjectedtointernalandexternalhydrostaticpressureslessthan10.8psi[74KPa].Testingunderthisstandardislimitedtohydrostaticpressures.Alternateairandvacuumpressuretestinginvolveuniquetestingprotocolsandarenotaddressedunderthisstandard.Testingunderthisstandardisconductedinalaboratoryasaproofofdesigncertification.Actualfieldperformancetestingwouldbeaccomplishedandacceptedunderindividualprojectperformancestandardsorpipelineacceptancecriteria,whichisoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Note1-Infiltrationorexfiltrationquantitiesforaninstalledsystemaredependentuponmanyfactorsotherthantheconnectionsbetweenmanholestructuresandpipe,andallowablequantitiesmustbecoveredbyotherspecificationsandsuitabletestingoftheinstalledpipelineandsystem.Note2-Thisspecificationmaybeappliedtoothertypesofplasticdrainagepipe.Consultwithmanufacturerofpipeforapplicabilitytothisstandard.Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.WithinthetexttheSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents:therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificprecautionstatement,see7.2.3.
