【摘要】:1ProductdefinitionThisEuropeanStandardcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementswhichaterminatedandassembledmultimodeMT-RJconnectorset(plugadaptorplug)mustmeetinorderforittobecategorisedasanEuropeanStandardproduct.Sincedifferentvariantsarepermitted,product-markingdetailsaregivenin3.5.2IntermateabilityAllproductsconformingtotherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardwillintermateandgivethespecifiedlevelofrandomattenuationandrandomreturnlossperformanceprovidedthesamecoresizeisused.Theintentionisthatthiswillbetrueirrespectiveofthemanufacturingsource(s)oftheproduct.3OperatingenvironmentThetestsselectedcombinedwiththeseverityanddurationarerepresentativeofacustomerpremiseprotectedenvironmentasdefinedinEN50173andISO/IECIS11801andasspecifiedincategoryCperIEC61753-1.4ReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisEuropeanStandarddoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.5QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisEuropeanStandarddoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.
